Hotel staff training videos
Built from your own procedures

Every hotel trains the same things again and again. New room attendants. Seasonal reopenings. A new check-in system. A procedure that changed last month.

We turn what you already have into short training videos, using your own rooms, carts, and signage, so every new hire sees the same thing no matter who is on shift.

Why hotel training never quite gets finished

bH6doMN609FMUaYtcwDHV.jpg

Plenty of hotels do this well when the team is full and the season is calm. The trouble is that neither stays true for long.

  • More than half of hotels report being short-staffed. (American Hotel & Lodging Association survey of 246 hoteliers, February 2026)

  • Hotels and motels record 3.9 work injuries and illnesses per 100 full-time workers, compared with 2.3 across private industry. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2024)

  • Front-line hotel departments commonly turn over 40 to 60 percent of their staff each year, even at stronger operators. (Netchex hospitality benchmarks, June 2026)

  • One estimate puts the cost of replacing a $16-an-hour employee at $10,000 to $17,000. (Netchex, 2026)

Every one of those new hires needs the same first-week training the last one got. Managers who are already stretched deliver it in whatever time they have, and it comes out a little different on every shift. That is not a failing. It is what happens when training depends on who has a free hour.

  • You send what you already have: handbooks, SOPs, checklists, slide decks, and photos of your own property.

  • We write the script using your materials that you approve and then we build the video with your visuals.

  • You an MP4 file back, ready to load into whatever you use to track training or whatever communication platform you use with your staff.

  • The presenter can be a standard digital presenter, or someone your staff already knows and trusts.

  • When a procedure changes, we update the video. No reshoot, no new production.

  • If your team speaks more than one language, we can translate the narration into 165 languages including 23 versions of Spanish.

  • Our videos are built by instructional designers with 25 years of experience turning policies and procedures into training people actually finish.

  • We do not have a library of videos to sell you. We focus on custom video production using your materials and AI to produce videos quickly and cheaply compared to traditional videos.

Micro Videos by Lyn Learning

Are a good fit if:

  • The training repeats often: onboarding, seasonal staff, safety briefings

  • The content already exists in a handbook, SOP, or slide deck

  • Corporate training videos don't cover your specific property concerns or procedures

  • The topic changes too often to justify a traditional video shoot
  • You already have a learning platform, or a spreadsheet, where you track who has been trained

  • You're re-running new-hire orientation constantly because of turnover

  • Your workforce includes people whose first language isn't English, and a one-size-fits-all English training module isn't actually landing.

It is probably not the right tool when:

  • The topic is a one-time event that will not come up again

  • The skill has to be learned with hands on the bed, the cart, or the equipment

  • You want a ready-made library of generic courses. Several good ones exis

Questions hotel managers ask:

Can a training video replace in-person training for housekeepers?

Not for hands-on skills. It works best for the parts that repeat, like what to expect on day one, how your property does things, and what to do when something goes wrong. Your supervisor still shows the bed making.

Can you make the videos in Spanish?

Yes, we can translate the videos into 165 different languages including 23 different kinds of Spanish.

Can we use our own photos and branding?

Yes, and we encourage it. Videos that show your own rooms and equipment hold attention better than generic footage.

Will the videos work in our learning platform?

Your will receive an MP4 file. You can then use them in the platform you already have, or share them by link. We do not replace your tracking system.

Do your videos meet state training requirements?

No. If your state requires approved training, use the approved course. We can make a short video on your property’s own procedures to go with it. If you have a course you have developed that meets state requirements, we can make that into a video for you.

How do I get started?

Send us one procedure you wish you had a video for but could never justify making. We will show you what it could look like.
